I just ordered one online and it came within 3 days. The order was for a black that matches the rest of my Henry Emile. But, boy, I wish I had ordered the Red. It will definitely bring some color to my kitchen.

I always use the HE casserole to bake no-knead bread but it was a bit too small for my family - so I decided to order this one when it came out last month.
This dome is huge and I checked around the cover lid to ensure it is 100% horizontally flat - I don't want the moisture to escape from this little clay oven. Yes - It is perfectly flat + there is no warp or uneven surface on the lid edge. I love it - great workmanship!

There is no instruction whether I have to pre-bake or test it for the first time. Anyhow, I place it in the oven at 450 degree for an hour to test the quality and durability. It came out fine and so I did my first baking last nite.

The result was surprisingly impressive - the bread came out with a nice crust and it maintains its own soft texture inside.

There is also a 6-page recipe enclosed in this bread cloche - I will definitely try it and see how it is.

Though it is a bit $$$$ for this cloche - I don't have hesitation to buy few more as X'mas gift for my family.
