Knape & Vogt RRC28K-W Rotary Corner Recycling Center White, White Review

We installed these and love them. I don't like normal lazy susans (things fall and get lost) so we installed this to separate our recycling. Where we live you have to separate into metal, paper, glass, cardboard and plastic. It comes with sticker so you can label what is what. We decided to dedicate the three trash cans in the recycling center to metal, glass, and plastic. These three b/c plastic isn't heavy and we don't use much metal and glass. We are storing our paper elsewhere b/c that's what we recycle the most of and it's heavy. Though the recycling center is very sturdy we figure it'll hold up better in the long run if we store our paper elsewhere. We built our cabinets so there was a lot of extra room to either side of the bins. We will store our cardboard here.
I know when we installed we have to cut the rod to fit our cabinet. If you have some tools and are semi-handy it shouldn't be a problem.
These would also be great to use for trash. We used the middle can for a little while (when we didn't have doors on the cabinets) when we were having issues with our dog getting into the trash. Being at the back of the cabinet he couldn't get to it.
I do worry about having to eventually replace the trash cans and it being an odd shape and size. Something to think about.

Leick Mission Console Table/Hall Stand, Slate Black Review

I bought this table to display my classic boomboxes and mostly to have the box on top for good ear level listening.

THOUGHTS:

1. It's been almost 2 months since I bought it so I can't remember if this table came with instructions or not (I don't think it did). Regardless, it was easy to assemble - you can pretty much figure out what goes where just by looking at a picture of the finished product, so even if you had the instructions, I doubt you would need 'em.

2. Happy that the wood is actually painted and not covered with cheap looking veneer.

3. Might be some confusion - if any - over the color "slate black"... Looks black to me.

4. You'll probably have to tighten up the door handle with a screwdriver (the one on mine was loose enough to swirl every time I messed with it... That got old after awhile).

5. The drawer isn't held in with drawer slides, but does have a plastic stopper in the middle to prevent it from being pulled all the way out.

Overall, this is a great table that was easy to assemble, not high quality construction but very solid and stable. That said, I'm seriously considering buying 2 more. Recommended.
