Alright ,... I have always been satisfied with KidKraft items. Generally high quality and certainly durable. NOT so with this item!!!!!!
To save money every other screw has been replaced/designed with a dowel. Sounds ok right? well,..to save even more money the dowels are made of rolled recycled pulp,.... you guessed it,.... they are very fragile and WILL break during assembly.
Kidkraft customer service is awesome and replacement parts should be here in a few days..... no charge.

But you know as well as I that they are sending the same cheap parts ... which I may or may not break again. Soooo, now we have 70lbs of pink wood parts layed out on the floor that need to be repacked just to get them out of the way for a few days.
Which means I will be sending the whole mess right back to Amazon.
Save yourself the aggravation...... don't buy it.
