Obviously this chair was returned by another customer, easy to tell by the way it was re-taped, and was missing a major piece (the u shaped connecting bar) and the allen wrenches to put it together. Amazon I've noticed in the last couple of years is slipping in their customer service....selling items as new that have been returned (this is not the first time its happened to me), taking much longer to ship an item (I have a bike on order I ordered AFTER this chair that still has not shipped) and using overseas customer reps that are hard to communicate with.
VERY DISAPPOINTED with Amazon. But its their loss as there is still E-Bay.
As for a review of the chair.....well at this time all I can say is the quality looks good, and their Customer Service Dept was quick to respond. Will see how long it takes them to ship part from California to Minnesota.
Edit 08/19/13. Highly recommend this chair! Quality is excellent! Easy to put together! If you're looking for a simple well designed chair, look no further. This chair replaces the third chair I've had in last 4 years, all which were the pneumatic desk chair style and which started falling apart and/or leaking! Nothing like sitting and all of a sudden you're shrinking! This current chair is working out GREAT! I was a little worried that it wouldn't slide easily but no problem with that! Should have bought this a long time ago!
