Remote Controlled Rechargeable White Tea Lights Set of 12 Review

I loved the idea of rechargeable tea lights that could be controlled remotely. I use flameless candles in my fireplace, and turning all 12 of them on and off every evening was enough to make me forego the pleasure of "candlelight" on too many nights. However, these candles have not increased the convenience by much. Apparently, they discharge even when "off", if turned off by the remote. So they need to be recharged several times a week if used nightly, and before every use if used less often. One of the candles stopped charging at all, but it had been just three months and I could no longer contact the maker for a replacement. These things are EXPENSIVE and I am very disappointed in them. I wish I hadn't wasted my money. I believe they are mainly for use in a restaurant where they are picked up and charged every night, not for an individual who only occasionally wants to "turn on" a candlelit evening.

An additional note: Though the candles appear to be the 3/4 inch high variety in the picture, they are actually 1 1/2 inches high, which was disappointing since it didn't give the look I was going for.
