I was going to buy this, during the gold-box deal, but went to another web site selling it for $140 not on sale and found it was made in China and that the bottom is aluminum.After a few of the comments I received I went to All Clad and they told me if I was concerned about it being made in the USA then buy the D5 line, haven't looked at that yet as I was just looking at gold box this morning. They told me they monitor the products made in China if that makes any one feel better.
