The product has not arrived yet, but since I had identical item in Japan, I'd like to write a review.

This is made in China and sold under many different mfg names. You have to assemble it by yourself (easy).

The biggest weakness of this bed is the ratcheting, tilting head portion. The ratchet mechanism is made with inferior metal and mine broke only after 3 months or so without applying excessive force to it.

This bed is handy for apartment/office use or whoever cannot master bed-making (that is a rocket science for me).

P.S, before I left Japan, I had completely disassembled/demolished this thing and found welding was awfully done on the frame.

Finally, I bought this in my new apartment in NYC, and am impressed with even lower quality as compared to Japanese market ver. The Japanese market ver had tall hand rails on both sides, but this one has horizontal tiny bar only on one side that's like a decoration. Upon completion of the assembly, I noticed one wheel is off the floor by 1/4". I took another star off of it. The good thing about this is that I don't feel bad when I have to destroy it. Consider this as a temporary guest use kind of purpose only.
