Firstly, I want to state that the window is a nice piece, and seems to be constructed well (considering the price). Also, despite what some people have indicated in other reviews of similar product, it IS constructed of real glass, although the way it is pieced and soldered may make it "feel" a bit otherwise.

What caught me by surprise, and hence the lower star rating, was that the color of the item was in no way even close to that of the photo. My window has GREEN as the predominant color - not amber, red and white (which is what I was thinking I was going to get per the item photo). If I didn't have green as part of my decorating scheme, I would have been extremely disappointed. Fortunately for me I was able to accept the color difference. The glass is also opaque and not translucent - giving the product a whole different look. I still wish I had received one just like the item as pictured, but, oh well.

End result: not loving the item, but still okay with it enough to keep it.
