We've had a 251i vacuum for probably about 10 years now with fairly heavy use throughout by weekly house cleaners who aren't exactly gentle. The hose has been broken (but still usable) for about 2 years now and I didn't replace it because I figured the vac would break something more serious. But it hasn't. So I finally broke down and bought this replacement hose. It's a perfect replacement. One star docked just because the price of the hose is kind of outrageous, but if the vac itself keeps trucking like it has, it's cheap in the long run. A lower price would have made this replacement a no-brainer 2 years ago. BTW, the house cleaners recommended this Miele vacuum model to begin with.
