The MM2 has a 6061 aluminum block frame housing two steel rollers on oil-impregnated bronze bushings. The drive shaft and all axles are integral to the roller rather than screwed into the ends, which makes it possible to drive the mill clockwise or counter-clockwise. Monster Mill MM2 2-Roller Mill Review

I have used this mill for 3 batches, milling about 175lb of grain in the process. It took a little fine tuning and there was a learning curve but now that it is up and running this thing is awesome! It provides a very fast and even crush to the grain. My efficiency has gone up over 15% since switching from having my local brew shop mill my grain. I highly recomend getting the base and the hopper. The mill needs to be mounted correctly to a base or it will not turn properly and will jam frequently, so $10 for a base that is has perfectly spaced mounting holes is a no brainer. The hopper is pricey, but after fabricating one myself i had spent $30 in materials and was never fully satisfied with the results. I ended up getting the hopper and have been very pleased with it. Also don't waste your time trying to use a cordless drill with this mill, its output is too great for the drill to keep up with. Even with my high-end 18v cordless drill i got nothing but constant jams.

If you brew smaller batches or not very often then this mill might be over kill, and you are probably better off getting a smaller mill. If you brew large batches often, this is a great mill.
