I love how this looks with our curtain and how it looks in the room! Glad I didn't spend a bundle on the ones with the expensive finials that you have to buy separately. We have a long pinch pleat curtain we got at JCPenney over our sliding glass door and I liked that this curtain rod allowed you to easily switch between the curtain opening one way or the other way (we had to switch it from the default, it was easy - you just pull the string through to the other direction.) My husband installed it. He's an engineer and didn't think the instructions were very good. It also was missing the white pulley thing that pulls the cord taught, but I sent an email to the shipper via Amazon, and we received it right away (without a good description of what was missing even.) I think it's a great value compared to the others I was looking at. The brown color was exactly what I wanted.
