I live in western MA near Thorndike Mills, a company known nationwide for their exceptional braided rugs. I bought a 5x8 for around $250. I didnt mind paying the $250 as all the cheaper others I had seen were of very poor quality. I recently did my kids bedroom over on a tight budget and could not afford to pay $250 for another rug. I looked on amazon and found this one for roughly $100 but knew I would not be getting a good quality rug. Much to my liking, the rug arrived and exceeded my expectations. I find it to be as good as the rug I paid 2 and a half times the price for.
